EZWheel Warranty Policy

At EZWheel, we are committed to delivering high-quality electric mobility products. We offer a limited warranty to protect our customers against manufacturing defects in new products purchased directly from EZWheel.


Warranty Coverage

All products include a standard warranty as required by Canadian law. Please note:

All our devices are tested before they are shipped to ensure proper functionality.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not apply to issues caused by incorrect use, improper assembly, accidental damage, or unauthorized modifications.

Customers must inspect their order upon receipt and report any concerns immediately.

A valid proof of purchase (receipt, email confirmation, etc.) is required to submit a warranty claim.


Warranty Periods (New Devices Only)

-Major Electrical Components
1-year defect warranty
Includes: motor, throttle, battery, bearings, controller, and display.

-Mechanical Parts
6-month defect warranty
Includes: frame parts, brake calipers, brake levers, suspension systems, and rims.

-Non-Essential Electrical Components
3-month defect warranty
Includes: lights, horn, blinkers, and buttons.

Parts and labor are fully covered under warranty.


Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover the following:

-Physical or crash damage, including damage resulting from accidents, collisions, falls, or impacts with road hazards or objects. This includes damage to the frame, wheels, suspension, handlebars, display, or any other component.

-Water damage or liquid ingress under any circumstances. This includes corrosion, short circuits, electrical failures due to moisture, and deterioration of sealed components such as batteries, motors, controllers, or displays.

-Unauthorized modifications or repairs, including opening or tampering with the battery, controller, motor, or internal wiring. Such actions immediately void the warranty and may result in serious safety risks, including fire or device failure.

-Use of incompatible power sources, such as chargers with incorrect voltage or current ratings, which may cause system damage or safety hazards.

-Improper maintenance, including the use of incorrect tools, failure to perform routine checks, or neglecting required servicing that compromises safety or functionality.

-Exposure to extreme conditions, including storage or use outside the product’s specified temperature range, or exposure to corrosive environments such as salt, sand, or chemicals.

-Overloading beyond the manufacturer's specified weight limit, which may cause premature failure or structural stress.

-Consumable parts, including but not limited to: kickstand, fenders, brake pads, tires, inner tubes, brake lines, brake discs, etc.

-Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, discoloration, rust, or surface wear.

-Disassembly of components not designated as user-serviceable in the product manual.

-Products purchased from non-authorized resellers or private individuals.

-Products without valid proof of purchase.

Shipping costs related to warranty service are not covered.

For used or refurbished products, unless specifically covered under a separate warranty agreement.
